PSA BDP announced its full ownership of all PSA BDP office locations in Saudi Arabia on 11 May.
PSA BDP’s entities were initially established as a joint venture with Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Co. Ltd (Kanoo) in 2011. The operations will now operate as a 100% PSA BDP owned entity. The new legal entity is BDP International Logistic Services Co, and will fall under the PSA BDP umbrella.
The PSA BDP Saudi Arabia organisation offers a wide range of services to diversified customers in the region, including those in Chemical & Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Energy, Consumer Goods & FMGC, Retail, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Perishables industries.
PSA BDP Expands Global Network with New Office Opening in Gdańsk
On 16 May, PSA BDP announced the opening of its first Polish office, in Gdańsk.
The Gdańsk office is strategically positioned to connect key central European transportation hubs. By leveraging the city’s extensive transportation infrastructure, PSA BDP will significantly improve logistics flow for customers within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial sectors.
Gdańsk on the whole is expected to develop rapidly into a strategic logistics epicentre due to its close proximity to Baltic Hub, a member of the PSA Group located in the Port of Gdańsk. The port serves as a marine gateway connecting Asia to Central and Eastern European markets, and it is the only Baltic port that supports direct container connections with China.
Additionally, Baltic Hub houses one of the largest rail facilities in Europe and is the closest port serving the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Capitalising on the proximity to this strategic hub allows PSA BDP to offer greater connectivity and more cost-competitive and eco-friendly solutions to customers looking to minimise their carbon footprint.
